Investing in the Future

In recent decades, Easterseals Iowa has continued to invest in facilities, innovative programming and people - adapting to change while remaining committed to its mission.

2013

Camp Sunnyside is selected for a Hubbell Realty Extreme Build, delivering two new lodges that replace original cabins.

2017

The McAninch Family Aquatic Center opens and HERO Hall renovation is completed, expanding recreational and accessibility opportunities at Camp Sunnyside.

2018

The Built to Last Capital Campaign funds major updates, including the Doug and Donna McAninch Independence Innovation Center.

2020 - 2021

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Easterseals Iowa adapts services, launches a new Brain Health program and expands the Child Development Center through a second Hubbell Realty Extreme Build.

2026

Easterseals Iowa celebrates 100 years of creating solutions, changing lives and building inclusive communities.
