Camp Sunnyside offers programs for campers of all ages and abilities

 We are glad you are visiting us ~ We enjoy telling the story of Camp Sunnyside.

The first camping season was held in July 1961, so Camp Sunnyside is celebrating its 48th year of fun, laughter and good friends.  It is a place where children and adults with and without disabilities gather to enjoy themselves and explore all their potentials.  We see many "firsts" here at Camp Sunnyside ~

• The first time someone stays on their own without a parent or guardian
• The first time a camper gets to ride a horse
• The first time someone realizes they are not alone and that others share the same joys, concerns, and challenges.

We have lots of camping opportunities ~ from week-long resident camps to weekend respite camps.  Not sure which camping program is right for you?  Here are the descriptions of our camping sessions.  In addition to camping, respite weekends are held all year long.

Our camping sessions are theme based, so you can pick the week that interests you the most.  For instance, Science Week gets the summer off to an explosive start with nature and science experiments.  Rainbow Connection Week is specially structured for campers with autism.  And if you like horses, then Western Week is for you.
