Alexis M.

Alexis has been able to continue living independently despite facing health challenges over the past year.  She did not miss work and was able balance her financial budget.

She has a passion for volunteering and helping others.  She buys backpacks for children and makes stuffed toys for children who are homeless.

She participates in volunteer activities with her church, such as helping to provide meals to people who are homeless.

As Alexis faces her own challenges to remain successfully independent, she finds meaning and faith in giving back to children without homes.
