Easter Seals Disability Services

24-Hour Supported Community Living (SCL)

I 

This program provides extended services to adults with disabilities that require 24-hour care in their place of residence.   We are very excited to offer this option to families.   Easter Seals will provide this service to residents at a daily rate, which is determined by the consumer’s needs. 

The primary goal of 24-hour SCL is to support and assist an individual as they learn the life skills necessary to one day live and recreate in the community independently.  Some of these services may include, but are not limited to: individual advocacy service; transportation; education on how to seek medical treatment, social activities or groups; learning to cook; training on how to pay household bills, meal planning & grocery shopping.
