Easter Seals Life Club
Life Club is currently accepting participants.
Easter Seals Life Club is an alternative day program for individuals with disabilities who are approaching retirement age or, for other reasons, are unable to work in the community.
Life Club is comprised of various opportunities and activites driven by member input through their own monthly meetings. Life Club is consumer focused and works toward individual goals set to increase personal independence.
Activities include:
- Work projects for Easter Seals and local businesses.
- Volunteer opportunities within the Des Moines community and Easter Seals.
- Social activities determined by the Life Club members such as interactive activites out in the community and trips to various sightseeing locations.
- Skill building projects based on bi-monthly themes relating to the skills needed to increase independence and self reliance.
